The Story Behind the Banana

 Hello!!

Welcome to The Daily Banana!  

I love bananas.  I have a banana every night after dinner for dessert, instead of something with added sugar like ice cream or cookies.  I even asked for banana desserts for my birthday this year instead of cake.  I was having a conversation with my dear friend Sara (one of the silliest people I know), wherein I told her that I have a banana every day for dessert after dinner, and that I so look forward to my daily banana.  And we laughed...and an idea was born...

Bananas are silly.  They're bright yellow, you can use them as props, and they make great pun fodder.  One might say they're very ap-peel-ing...See?  

So combining my love for bananas, puns, and other forms of silliness is my absolute joy and my intent in creating this blog.  Also, my love of cats.  You might see a lot of cats here. 

So without further adieu...let the Daily Banana commence!

If a marine mammal had a banana, it would be The Whale-y Banana.  If you put a banana in a bucket, it would be The Pail-y Banana.  If a banana was a fish, it would be The Scaly Banana (props to my partner Martin for some of these)...I can do this all day!
